The much anticipated Home Decor and Giftware exhibition kicked off this Tuesday, the 14th November 2017. The event which is organised by Clarion Events West Africa in partnership with The Retail Council of Nigeria, and The African Association of Interior Designers, featured both local and international retailers from over twenty countries each showcasing a broad range of new brands and products. We had the opportunity of attending opening day and viewing the offerings from exhibitors, many of which were very impressive. From South African art and decor to Turkish textiles and fabrics as well as Nigerian Furniture and accessories there was much to see and inspire.
One of our favourite brands at the exhibition was Abela by Scents of Africa, an indigenous, locally manufactured brand of scented candles and fragrances. While fragrances aren’t our forte on livin spaces, the quality and authenticity of the products were undeniable. There was a depth to the story behind the product as well as an unexpected quality in packaging and branding matched with the quality of the product itself. We highly recommend it.
The exhibition winds down today so take the time to visit, patronize and network with the exhibitors and visiting professionals.
