We’re open to designers, industry professionals and enthusiasts who love writing about architecture, interiors, landscaping, how-tos, DIYs and related topics, and are in need of a platform to share their articles, thoughts and opinions – whether as a regular contributor or as an occasional one.

Livin Spaces regularly publishes timely news and quality reports within the industry – so whether you’re an architectural journalist in need of a relevant platform to share your coverage of events, competitions, projects and more, or, a firm representative with news on your firm’s advances, notable projects or initiatives, you can leverage our platform to publish and inform.

What it entails
Contributors can publish regularly or occasionally – which as frequent as you want, or whatever time is convenient for you. Either way, once your application is successful, a profile with your bio and contact details is created for you so readers can connect with you (except you choose to be anonymous). For journalists reporting news and tips within the AEC industry, the above applies as well. Please find below our publishing requirements:
– Post Lengths
We love long articles – carefully crafted to educate, inform and engage. As a result, we prefer articles with a minimum of 1500+ words (the more the merrier). We love them especially more, when they are data-driven as they ensure readers are reliably informed and can make better decisions.
– Types of posts
We accept different post types – listicles, how-to-guides, checklist/cheat sheets, infographics, interviews, news, case studies, reviews, personal success stories amongst others. Our platform is available for you to publish, inform and engage.
– Multimedia
Livin Spaces is a very visual platform. As such, we require that points being made in the articles are accompanied by visual illustrations – using relevant images, GIFs, videos, charts, sketches, etc. This will help readers better understand the details of the article, as well as keep them engaged.
Images used should have a relevant caption and citation (for copyrighted images), be of good quality – with the horizontal side of the image at least 800px. The videos can be uploaded or embedded within post.
– Columns
Columns are reserved for regular publishers publishing as regularly as weekly or twice a month. If interested in having a regular column, please send us an email titled “Regular publishing” so we can send you the requirements.
