For this project, Lagos-based Interior Design Studio, Michael Ehiz Design, created an airy and tranquil ensuite pastel green bedroom characterized by a generous use of pastel green and a balanced design approach.
The “Royal Garden” bedroom is designed for two occupants and features two double beds in white bed frames. Each bed has a bed bench and is recessed into an arched depression in the wall with a grey upholstered backdrop. Over each sleeping area hangs a 4 in 1 linear pendant light in the same pastel green colour.
Opposite the sleeping area, a reading desk with storage is provided, as well as a dresser with a console and stool in a dark blue color. A nightstand is positioned between the beds, featuring a table lamp.
The primary color in the “Royal Garden” bedroom is pastel green, complemented by light-grained wood and light grey, with accents of dark blue. The walls are green, and the floor is tiled in white.
The room is illuminated with double-bulb recessed ceiling lights and linear drop lights above each bed. Natural light enters through two windows, which are covered with drapes paired with white blinds.
The bathroom in this pastel-green bedroom features an understated design with an all-white color scheme. The Carrara marble tiles on both the floor and walls impart a timeless and clean aesthetic.
The layout is simple and functional. It features a glass enclosure that defines the shower area without disrupting the overall room flow. Inside the shower space, a well-lit niche offers practical storage. This all-white bathroom complements the overall design of the bedroom.
In summary, the pastel green bedroom by Michael Ehiz Design is designed to be functional and visually pleasing. The layout accommodates two occupants, providing a balance between comfort and practicality.
The chosen color palette is intended to create a tranquil ambiance, and the lighting design enhances the room’s appearance. The use of light-grained wood for storage solutions contributes to the overall design cohesiveness.
