Spazio Ideale, a multidisciplinary interior design studio, embarked on a residential design and implementation for a project in Lagos, known as Project Ice. This comprehensive undertaking involved a total fit-out of the residence, with particular emphasis on key areas. Among them is the vibrant contemporary bedroom design we are about to explore.
The bedroom exudes a vibrant and energetic ambiance, thanks to a well-curated color palette and thoughtful composition. The cohesive and consistent furniture style significantly enhances the overall perception of the space. Bathed in natural light from ample windows adorned with drapes and blinds, the room is both compact and functional, with the bed rightfully at its center.
In response to the client’s brief, Spazio Ideale opted for a Nordic-style simple bed frame, complemented by two side tables and a matted-top bed bench. Flanking this arrangement are two sleek dropdown linear lights, providing both task lighting and setting a soothing mood for sleep. Above the headboard, three minimal framed artworks seamlessly blend with the room’s color palette.
Adjacent to the sleeping area of this contemporary bedroom design, the designers intelligently laid out the closet, incorporating closed and open shelving along with a dresser space, all accompanied by a sizable mirror.
To add a personalized touch, Spazio Ideale introduced an indoor plant and other decor pieces, completing the meticulous fit out of this stylish and functional space.
The vibrant colors, smart furniture choices, and great use of light make this contemporary bedroom design both stylish and practical. They nailed the simple aesthetic, from the Nordic-style bed to the well-organized closet.
