Dark-themed interiors especially luxurious interior designs, give off a dark and sophisticated vibe. They will often draw you in with some type of enigmatic allure almost like the space has a painfully sweet secret. The designers achieved this mostly with an interplay of materials and how they interact with light and space. They played with reflection and tactility across the furniture, floors and walls giving the space authenticity and believe it or not, confidence.
Wood can be used to create the appearance of luxury in spaces especially when exposed, grained and dark. Steel and bone elevated this interior using dark-grained wood in side tables, live edge planks for consoles and wooden cladding on some of the walls.
