Open Call For Tanzanian Creatives by African Architecture Matters

African Architecture Matters has launched an open call for Tanzanian creatives to join in the “development and execution of participatory workshops for the design of playgrounds and sports fields in northern Pemba” from 25 November to 8 December, 2024.

According to African Architecture Matters, the open call for Tanzanian creatives presents an opportunity for successful applicants to participate in a paid 2-week collaborative design and build process, utilizing participatory design principles to create inspiring spaces for youth and children. The project will engage local communities in the design process, fostering inclusive and sustainable playgrounds that promote creative play and sports.

We will organize a number of workshops together with children and youth discussing and designing the public spaces they would like to see. But we cannot do this without you!
