Ghanaian-Scottish architect and Founder and Director of the African Futures Institute (AFI), Professor Lesley Lokko, was made an honorary member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects. This was announced three days ago by African Futures Institute on Instagram.
Professor Lesley Lokko, who is also a curator, and best-selling novelist, is known for her influential roles in architecture education and practice, including curating the 18th International Architecture Exhibition at La Biennale di Venezia, receiving an OBE for her contributions to architecture and education, and holding prominent positions in various educational and architectural institutions, while also being active in numerous architectural and urban initiatives.
