Limbo Museum’s artist-in-residence program welcomes Bonnie Hvillum, a biotextile innovator and founder of Natural Material Studio.
Known for her groundbreaking work with sustainable materials, Bonnie Hvillum explores how discarded resources can be transformed into design elements with architectural applications. Her residency will focus on integrating biotextiles into architectural repair work.

During her time at the Limbo Architecture Lab, Hvillum will collaborate with the museum team to investigate how her biotextiles can support efforts to repair unfinished buildings. The project is part of Limbo Museum’s broader mission to push the boundaries of architecture through material experimentation.
We’re excited to explore how these innovative textiles can contribute to sustainable building practices.
