GASS Architecture Studios shared their recent facade renovation of Ina Building in Pretoria CBD, incorporating innovative hexagon frames.
The recent facade renovation of Ina Building features characteristic hexagon frames, wrapped around the structure’s exterior. This dynamic pattern adds visual interest to the building’s envelope and also accentuates its overall aesthetics.

Daytime images show the angled modules of the frames casting playful shadows on the building. The careful overlay of these modules on plain curtain walls increases the optical texture of the building from the approach view. At night, the frame’s lattice depth and layering, heightened by neon lights, create a dynamic play of light and shadow that enlivens the building.

According to the architects, the newly renovated Ina Building aims to create a hub of medical excellence that fosters a warm and comforting environment for patients.
