Polish designer Iwona Kosicka, has created a swinging chair, made of plywood with a veneer finish, designed to hang from the ceiling.
The swing is an example of high-quality and minimalist design, as well as an incentive to play and move while sitting. Simple and functional design makes the swing a beautiful addition to any space either residential or otherwise.
The seat has an outer diameter of 1100mm with a seat depth of 335 mm while the oak veneered plywood is 25mm thick. The swing includes mounting systems, a carabiner and a 6m stainless steel rope. The swing does not contain a mounting element to the ceiling itself but the use of specialized fittings with a minimum load of 400 kg are recommended. The reason for this omission is due to the variety of ceilings to which the seat may need to be attached.
