London-based designer Veega Tankun, just recently launched the veegadesign brand specializing in handmade furniture, lighting, and accessories.
Their flagship collection is called ‘crafting comfort’ and focuses on using traditional techniques in modern ways with bold colors and playful shapes to draw one’s attention. They employ unusual yarns and materials to craft their wares, like rubber, felt, and bungee cords, creating cozy, oversized stuffed knits and pairing them with wood bases for structure and durability.
