SYNOPSIS
[dropcap size=big]T[/dropcap]ONITURE is a children’s furniture line designed Korean design firm Ground 280 Studio, which seeks to spark a child’s imagination. Toniture, which is a play on the words “toy” and “furniture” draws inspiration from the popular children’s toy Meccano, and features a kit that comes with a variety of pieces which can be assembled to create furniture.

[dropcap size=big]T[/dropcap]he Toniture (Toy + Furniture) project was designed to give children a extraordinary experience. It is inspired by the MECCANO toys that we had been playing with during our childhood. Toniture consists of various units 10 cm apart. It can be desks, chairs, and shelves with fixed by bolts and nuts. The children can build their own objects with stacking, joining, assembling each units. They are able to create the relationship between themselves and the surrounding space.
