Built: Inside the Swahili Gem Apartments in Kenya by Urko Sanchez Architects

The Swahili Gem apartments (formerly called Tudor Apartments) by Urko Sanchez Architects in Tudor Creek, Mombasa was completed earlier this year.

The building comprising 14 apartments enveloped in a distinctive masharabiya structural shell, which offers a unique aesthetic to the facade while ensuring privacy and optimising natural ventilation and daylight. You can find out more about the design in our previous feature.
