Participants at the workshop had the opportunity to create collages that reflects their personal identity.

To set the stage, the multidisciplinary artist introduced participants to the concept of autoethnography, drawing from the works of famous black female artists Billie Zangewa and Deborah Roberts, who are both known for creating collages that explored memory and identity through fragmented, layered images.

GAS Foundation resident artist, Ana Ogunsanya, walked participants through the workshop sessions.
The presentation featured the works of renowned collage artists, Billie Zangewa and Deborah Roberts.

The presentation was followed by a mind-mapping and collage workshop that enabled participants to introspect and share personal stories through unique art pieces reflecting their identity and background.
