To quote the manufacturers themselves, the worklounge is designed for your body, designed for your brain and designed for business. The premise of the design is to offer you an opportunity to “get away without going away”. It was born out of a need. A need for comfort without compromise on focus and productivity all the while still being practical, adaptable and flexible.
Though it can be set in an open plan office, the design ensure little to no visual distractions, and with a pair of noise cancelling headphones, you can equally drown out the noise. I wouldn’t want to call it a scaled down cubicle because its much more as it offers smart personal storage, power, lighting, great ergonomic support and adjustable work surfaces to get your job done, all for about in about a third of the size of your typical office cubicle. So yeah, its much more than a scaled down cubicle.
