IDEAS ON A ROLL: The Analog Memory Desk by Kirsten Camara

Last updated:

Argue about practicality all you want, but, this idea, still remains pretty intriguing. Designed by Kirsten Camara, this is the Analog Memory Desk, which is, “is a tool to record all the small items you write down once, but intend to forget tomorrow

The Desk features a roll of 1,100 yards (a little over 1000m) of butcher paper upon which to record everything from “the phones numbers you call once, the pixel size of that box on that website” to “the long division you try to remember”.

Like I said, practicality is debatable, but the thinking behind this piece is genius, albeit, in a quirky way.
