This past Wednesday, at a press conference in Lagos hosted by Fine and Country Nigeria, Essential Interiors Magazine unveiled plans for what they describe as Nigeria’s Premier Luxury Homes & Hospitality Exhibition, titled “MADE BY DESIGN”.
The event which is a collaborative venture between Essential Interiors magazine and ThisDay Home + Design, will be staged at The Landmark event centre, Lagos from November 4th-November 6th 2016. It will showcase some of the most valuable, elegant and remarkably unique luxury home and hospitality products offered in Nigeria. The exhibition is designed to provide beneficial collaboration and networking experience among key players in the luxury home and hospitality market, providing choice collection of luxury products, services and experiences for even the most discerning clientele.

Speaking at the press conference, Titi Ogufere, Editor in Chief, Essential Interiors Magazine, mentioned that this was an opportune time for such an event despite the economic challenges facing the country. She described the event as a platform to showcase and enlighten participants on not just luxury items, but global standards of quality that are available locally. To achieve this, a meticulously curated selection of top tier brands and suppliers will have on display a broad range of products and services that best represent the theme of luxury and high end quality in the country.
Day one (5th November 2016) of the two-day event is slated for an exclusive conference for hospitality stakeholders, Architects, Designers and Luxury Property developers, aptly themed: “Business of Luxury”. A panel discussion will be conveyed to spark deep conversations on the business of luxury design anchored by Fine & Country’s C.E.O, Udo Maryanne Okonjo and other reputable panelists including; Arc. Bayo Odulami of Design Group, Andrea Geday of El Alan Construction and Mosun Ogunbanjo of Wheatbaker Hotel.

Day two (6th November 2016) of the event would cater to the main exhibition where the aforementioned “curated selection of top tier brands and suppliers” will get a chance to showcase some of the most unusual, valuable, and remarkably beautiful luxury homes & hospitality products offered in Nigeria to luxury home owners, real estate developers, hospitality business owners, Architects and Designers.
