The refurbishment aimed to restore the essence of Festac ’77 while preserving the theatre’s cultural significance. Led by the Bankers’ Committee and the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, the project is a major step in revitalizing one of Nigeria’s most iconic landmarks.
