Last week Thursday was the 3rd Annual Careers in Interior Design Forum, hosted at the (very impressive) Bo Concept Showroom in Lekki Lagos.
The theme for this year’s event centered around employability and how prepare for and approach job opportunities. The panelists who spoke at the event were,
Lekan Olude, COO at Jobberman
Lara Lape Cameron-Cole, Creative Director at CC Interiors Ltd
Yeye Bush, Etiquette Consultant at Manners Matter, and
Deji Majekodunmi, Partner at FMA Architects Ltd.
The Panelists offered their experience and insight into the topic of employability covering everything from CV’s and resumes, to dressing, etiquette and Salary negotiation. It was an enriching experience for the attendees who were offered advice and tips and tricks as well as the opportunity to mingle with the panelists over appetizing Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
We also got the chance to walk through the BoConcept showroom and appreciate Danish urban contemporary furniture design. Here’s what we saw.
