12th Annual ATO Studios Lecture Explores the History of Modern Architecture in Nigeria

The 12th Annual ATO Studios Lecture is set to take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM WAT at 12 Ladi Alakija Avenue, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria.

This year’s theme, “The History of Modern Architecture, Engineering, and Construction in Nigeria”, with the sub-theme “Best Practices from Yesterday, for Tomorrow”, will delve into how lessons from the past can shape more enduring and innovative structures today.

The event will feature renowned speakers, including Arc. Mansur Kurfi Ahmadu, FNIA, Engr. Amin Moussalli, and Mr. Andy Jibunoh, NIOB, CIOB, who will examine why historical buildings often outlast contemporary ones and share insights on applying time-tested techniques to today’s challenges.
