Highlighting the stories of female architects shaping the built environment, the documentary “Women in Architecture” returns for a second chapter as it follows the journeys of Tosin Oshinowo and Dorte Mandrup, drawing parallelism between both of their lives and focusing on their distinct paths and challenges.
Initiated by Sky-Frame, in collaboration with ArchDaily, this instalment of the docu-series, written and directed by Boris Noir, will be premering via Youtube on November 12th at 7:30 am EST, 12:30 pm CET. Subscribe to the public premiere here and watch the first part of the series here.
As the world’s leading sliding window system, Sky-Frame is characterised by its empathic ability to take on different perspectives and points of view. They are interested in people and their visions, whether in architecture or social context. They deeply care about creating living spaces, and in doing so, question the role of women in architecture. From the arts to the sciences, women shape our society. They want to shed more light on this role, increase the visibility of Women in Architecture and encourage them to realise their full potential.
