Here’s a look at some of the colourful and engaging furniture designed by Yinka Ilori for last month’s social media week in Lagos.
True to his upcycling mantra, one of the pieces created for the event made use of those very popular yellow domestic kegs that are used to store everything from palm oil to petrol. 6 Kegs and flat white board make for an eccentric and socially relevant piece of furniture that does well to complement the co-working and sole tables which feature colourful patterning.
All the furniture was made by local artisans in Lagos, under the watchful eye of Mr.Ilori himself.
