A refreshingly different approach to what a child’s bedroom could look like. Van Staeyen Interieur Architecten developed a wall of cabinets that just so happened to include a sleeping nook complete with ample storage. While I can already hear some folks asking about ventilation and safety, I think its a case of context and implementation. Its nicely done with simple yet playful, geometry carving an opening into the sleeping nook, with what appears to be a slide out step as well as a slide out table at the end of the room.
I really like the idea of compacting the major activities of the bedroom into furniture. I see many possibilities with this approach. You could say its a more restrained version of the cubitat.
