Nestled amidst the striking beauty of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean’s endless expanse, Riva One, a luxury guesthouse in South Africa stands as a testament to meticulous craftsmanship and a profound love for the country. This villa, contains four different suites and a basement featuring spaces that have a strong connection between the indoors and the outdoors.
Fabio, an Italian with a global perspective, first set foot on South African soil nearly four decades ago. His love affair with this country laid the foundation for Riva One. Years later, accompanied by his son Alessio and lifelong friend Marcel, Fabio returned to South Africa, their hearts set on creating a sanctuary of unparalleled luxury amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Riva One is a one-storey luxury guesthouse in South Africa designed by South-African architecture and interior design firm, GSQUARED. It contains four different types of suites each uniquely interpreting the vision of the owners and the surrounding environment differently. The facility is cascaded by a pool deck, different outdoor seating clusters and supported by a recreation area in the basement.
The standout feature of this luxury guesthouse in South Africa is the integration of sliding screens along the facade of the building. This feature was not just a product of function but also of aesthetics as it provided the design with character.
Delving into the intricate details of our architectural elegance. The sliding screens at Riva One serve not just as a design element but as a multifunctional feature. Offering both shade and privacy, their captivating patterns resonate across various elements, adding finesse to every space.
