Designed and implemented by Lagos Interior Designer, Design By C. Williams, the living room features mute tones and an impressive modern style that can be seen across the different elements of the space. Part of a home in Victoria Island, Lagos, it stands out leaving an impression of affluence and timelessness.
The main furniture in the living room comprises a curved asymmetrical sofa and identical armchairs in cream colour that are both stylish and modern. A stylish coffee table and side table – both with glass tops, transparent legs and gold accent – complement the seating.
The entertainment area is the main focal point of the space. Its symmetrical and expansive style piques your interest immediately after entering the living room. It features floating horizontal cabinets, flanked at the top with identical but not-so-identical tall cabinets on both sides against a grey marble finish background.
This creates its look of symmetry. However, the designers modified the symmetrical look by having one of the tall cabinets open, while the other is enclosed with glass doors.
From the chandelier, the side, and coffee tables, to the wall decor and art; gold accents complimented the mute tones of the furniture and decor while adding a luxurious appeal. The bold and colourful African art used to decorate the wall introduced a welcoming dose of colour into the living room.
