Façade is a Thai-inspired lounge and gourmet restaurant located in the heart of Victoria Island, Lagos designed by Lagos-based IDesign by Tola Akerele.
The concept of the restaurant stems from Asian themes which are brought to life through bold colours, motifs and dark wood finishes. One of the challenges designing the space was balancing the restaurant which runs all day, with a lounge and bar thats used predominantly during the evenings. Lighting and texture helped in achieving this balance of functional uses for each of the spaces, with ambient and feature lighting carefully used to create the desired effect. Take a look.
