In this video courtesy EBC Originals, Sunil Patil of Sunil Patil and Associates discusses their design philosophy as a firm and how it influenced their work on the VVIP circuit house project in Pune, India. He highlights their desire to redefine the perception of government buildings and create one the was sustainable in its function and contemporary in its form. He goes on to point of the importance of the building being climate responsiveness and contextual, citing the louvered facade and central courtyard being focal points in achieving this.
