Inspired by a palette of rich gem tones, the design of this warm living room in South Africa combines a harmonious layering of luxe materials and furnishings, including walnut wall cladding, caramel leather-clad side tables, a brass Atollo table lamp, a central coffee table made of Carrara marble, an anthracite wool and vanilla boucle upholstery, and a custom fireplace with fluted marble. This combination creates a chic and grounded space that feels both warm and homey.
The modern open-plan living room accommodates a dinning area which features vintage de Padova chairs in butter-soft leather. At the entrance, the room’s furnishings and decor is complemented by a suspended brass and glass Modulo light fitting by Federico Peri, which creates visual interest in front of a nut brown oak-stained wall, adding a touch of elegance to the space.
