The other day I was busy cutting some stuff in the kitchen, and I just noticed a space above my worktop and felt the need to have shelving there for my blender and small orange juicer. I use them quite often, and I was getting tired of having to un-tuck them from the floor cabinets each time I wanted to use – and that was at least once a day. A singular horizontal shelf came to mind, as it’s simple design keeps the cost low, plus, I could seize the opportunity of introducing similar at other parts of the kitchen needing extra storage.

Aside from a space on the wall, you can put them against an uncovered window, especially a fixed one and still have daylight enter in.
