Lagos-based Interior Designer, Deff Hills Interiors, found inspiration for this rock-themed living room’s eccentric design in the rugged allure of natural rock formations. The choice of stone-textured walls and the incorporation of boulders reflect this inspiration, bringing an outdoor essence into the indoor living space.

The defining feature of this rock-themed living room design is the innovative use of design elements. Stone-textured walls, designed with a brick pattern, create a distinctive visual and tactile impact. To complement this, actual boulders were placed below the television in place of a console to reinforce the rock-themed aesthetic, blending seamlessly into the overall design.

The color scheme, comprising navy blue, white, grey, and black, serves as a suitable backdrop for the rock-themed decor. The stone-textured material on the walls, introduces a textural element that aligns with the chosen color palette, creating a different and unique atmosphere.

Navy blue U-shaped single sofas and a curved low sofa provide comfortable and stylish seating. A marble coffee table and black chalice side tables add sophistication. In the dining area, a 4-seater marble-top dining table with black legs is paired with white dining seats to add drama and a little edginess.
