Interior Design caters to how spaces are configured for our function and comfort, regardless of where they are. To prove this, we’re stepping on board the M/Y Bread, a 45 meter modern yacht built in 2007, but recently refitted by Kanter.
The yacht boasts a unique and luxurious interior fit-out, echoing the style of the traditional gentleman’s yacht and was designed by Florida based Annie Santulli Designs. Below is her short description.
The goal of this project was incorporating a majestic, old world feel with today’s touches…..while making it feel like a home rather than a yacht. Using lux materials with custom built-ins, superior woodwork, and furniture with magnificent fabrics far exceeds the clients expectations.

KITCHEN AND AFT DECK
Bread has a gorgeous full-beam country kitchen which opens up onto the aft deck, allowing the guests to watch the chef at work while dining at the aft deck table. The aft deck itself is enclosed by a graceful curve of large windows which offer a stunning view of the surrounds, and the open kitchen and enclosed aft deck together creates a fantastic space that blends the line between indoors and outdoors.
SALON
The country kitchen has displaced the traditional site of the salon, which has been moved forward and is decorated in rich wood panelling and upholstery in royal blue. This atmospheric room has the romantic feeling of long sea voyages, and is the perfect place to adjourn after dinner for a nightcap, or to curl up on a lounge with a book.
ACCOMODATIONS
The guest accommodation is found downstairs and sleep up to eight guests. Very attractively, all four staterooms are king-sized, and are beautifully finished with curved teak panels and raised panel joinery. All cabins have well-appointed en suites, with the master stateroom featuring a particularly expansive marble bathroom with a large glass shower. The accommodations are equipped with the state of the art Crestron and Kaleidescape entertainment systems that are found throughout the yacht.
UPPER DECK LOUNGE
The sense of rich decadence and comfort continues in the upper deck lounge, a beautifully bright space with royal blue couches, lush speckled carpet, and a bar.
OUTER DECK
Outside on deck there’s a stunning Jacuzzi and seating area, with sunpads and deckchairs for enjoying the sunshine, as well as a barbeque for grilling up the day’s catch. There’s also an additional seating area forward of the bridge for enjoying the breezes and spectacular views when the yacht is underway.
Seamlessly blending yachting tradition with modern technology and construction techniques and style, Bread is an entirely unique vessel which turns heads everywhere she goes.
The yacht is no longer available for sale but you can find other yachts like this one listed with yacht brokerage Worth Avenue Yachts.
