Last updated:

KODA is a sustainable, movable, prefabricated mini house prototype designed and developed by Estonian design collective Kodasema.

With input from over 100 experts, the modular prototype described as “a future proof, movable concrete house” which sits on a compact 25 sqm and features an open-plan living space and mezzanine bedroom as well as a built-in terrace in front of its glass facade. KODA also features built-in IT that enables the house to learn from and adjust to the surroundings. The prototype is built with factory-made components, and can be assembled on-site without the need for foundations. The designers hope this will help keep both assembly and dismantling time under seven hours, making it easy for residents to relocate. You can find out more detail about the prototype from the official Kodasema official website as well as their facebook page
