Designed by Bangkok based Architects 49, The Bangkok University Diamond is a Landmark Complex built on concepts of reorganizing the frontal area of the university’s second campus in Rangsit Patumthani, a suburb north of Bangkok.
As one of the oldest and largest private, non-profit universities in Thailand, the Bangkok University required an impressive and landmark approach to its campus and what better way to represent this than with the symbol of the university- a diamond. That was the inspiration behind the ‘Leibeskind-esque’ buildings that form this new gateway into the institution. Contemporary, bold and sculptural, the Bangkok University Diamond welcomes visitors, students, staff and faculty with its intriguing forms, creativity and style.

BU Diamond symbolizes the university’s vision as well as marking the gateway to the campus. The Landmark Complex is composed by three buildings:
First, Building A3 is a six stories height with 4 stories inner court. The building housed 80, 160 and 320 seats classrooms, 1,600 seats auditorium, student center, canteen, administration office, parking and the centralized mechanical room for the whole complex.
Second, Building A2 is the Science and Technology building. It is 4 stories high and consists of computer labs and office simulation labs etc.
Third, Building A1 is the 3 stories Creative Art building. Entrance hall is 3 stories high with grand stair connecting all floors. It has student exhibition hall and art labs etc.
