Comfort in Geometry: The Q1 Lounge Chair and Q4 Coffee Table by ODESD2

Similar in style to their Q5 chair, these are also inspired by the triangular construction of Buckminster Fuller’s geodesic dome. The Q1 is probably the most obvious in displaying this as the seat structure and even the upholstery tesselate to create a lovely form that looks really comfortable and contemporary. The Q4’s steel legs are reminiscent of the Q5 chair, but top out with a simple oak veneered plywood surface. I’ve never been a big fan of coffee tables, but seeing how these two work together, I can make an exception.
