An Architect’s Guide to choosing a Camera for Architectural Photography (Part 1)

Architectural photography is proving more and more important most especially in today’s fast moving digital age. I-phone images aren’t cutting it anymore and if you want prospective clients to take you seriously, high quality photography becomes crucial.

Of course you can commission a professional architectural photographer to handle your projects, but should you wish to ‘d-i-y’ it, the challenge of selecting the necessary tools becomes evident.

In this two-part video series, Architect, writer and photographer, Eric Reinholdt helps with that. He discusses how to go about choosing a camera for architectural photography via his Youtube channel, 30X40 Design Workshop, summarising the photography equipment used in his own practice while citing camera types, image quality and lenses as well as a number of other features to look out for when selecting a camera.
