The drubba moments luxury watch store in Titisee-Neustadt, southwest Germany, features a peculiar and truly “eye-catching” ceiling design developed by Ippolito Fleitz Group, a multidisciplinary, internationally operating design studio based in Stuttgart.
Inspired by the surrounding black forest at the store’s new lakeside location, the ceiling features 4362 rectilinear rods of spruce that stretch across the entire central area of the store in undulating waves. The ceiling serves as the emotional center of the store space where you find a café/bar as well as watchmaker service. The natural hues, subtle elegance and a gentle dose of theatricality, help to transform the central space into a visual attraction without stealing the show from the surrounding branded areas.
