Designed by Urban Scape Architects as a primary institution that aims to promote the overall development of a child, the school seeks to immerse children in a creative milieu, building new relationships and ways of engaging with the external environment.

The design process began by centering around the identified user – in this case, young children. The initial stage of form development started with the natural angle of the site which was subsequently moulded into a fluid form, thereby creating spaces with no restrictions, where children can move around with ease.

As the form folds in, out and around the user, a raw material palette is consistent to the idea of user-centricity. Correspondingly, safe and natural environs are created in order to enable the children to interact with and explore nature and folds of the built alike. The intention of the overall process echoes through the child-centric environment that is ultimately created – one that youngsters can explore and call their own.
