The Kingways Tower is a 14 storey office and retail building situated along Alfred Rewane (Kingsway) Road in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Designed by South African Architecture practice, SAOTA, in collaboration with Lagos-based Consultants Collaborative Partnership (local architects), the Kings Tower has a total built up area of 32 800sqm including 12 floors of office space (14,827 sqm), 2 floors of retail space (1,545 sqm) and 4 parking levels catering to 343 cars. A notable space within the Kingsway Tower is the building’s reception lobby.
The reception lobby is a 244sqm double height, glazed, space, with towering 6.5m ceilings intended to reflect the building’s modern design. The lobby is finished with an array of elegant natural wood members and panels, chief of which, is the prominent wooden umbrella that rises above the reception desk. The manufacture and installation of the panels was handled by Trustwood Nigeria.
