The Kingsway Tower in Ikoyi, Lagos by Saota Features a Perforated Steel Lattice Facade

The Ikoyi/Victoria Island skyline keeps getting better with more AAA office space being developed. One of such is the SAOTA designed Kingsway Tower, currently under construction along Alfred Rewane (Kingsway) Road in Ikoyi.

The South African architects describe the project as follows, “A striking office building in a busy commercial area comprising basement parking, ground floor retail & restaurants and offices. The façade is covered by a screen to add both aesthetic value and shading, limiting the amount of direct sunlight.

Here are some the renderings as well as images showing the progress of construction courtesy SAOTA. The Kingsway Tower faces competition from the likes of the Wings Office Towers by SVA, the Bloomsbury WaterFront by NLE and Heritage Place by Capita Symonds.
