The Association of Ethiopian Architects publishes ‘GUIDELINES FOR COVID-19 QUARANTINE AND TREATMENT CENTERS IN THE ETHIOPIAN CONTEXT’.

After two weeks of intensive work, the Association of Ethiopian Architects ”action against Covid-19″ Taskforce has finalized the 1st edition of the ‘GUIDELINES FOR COVID-19 QUARANTINE AND TREATMENT CENTERS IN THE ETHIOPIAN CONTEXT, SPATIAL AND ENGINEERING REQUIREMENTS OF THE PHYSICAL STRUCTURE’.

The document was developed to support the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia toward the fight against the spread of the pandemic COVID-19. It aims to provide guidance on building design and environmental engineering requirements for the benefit of all involved in the design, construction,
adaptive reuse, commissioning and use of the health-care infrastructure across both public and private sectors. You can offer comments and inputs towards the second edition via email to covid19aea@gmail.com.
