A tweet by JADE+QA, the design studio behind the Songjiang Quarry Hotel project, confirms that the hotel, officially known as the Shimao Wonderland Intercontinental, will be opening its doors a little over a month from now, at the end of October 2018. Images shared in the tweet show most of the exterior cladding and glazing has been completed, most notably, the central glass “waterfall” of the facade.
