Before the unfortunate building collapse on Gerrard Road, Ikoyi, the Association of Consulting Architects of Nigeria (ACAN) had hoped to release the maiden edition of their fast read, audiovisual publication titled “Architects Say______” from the entries received from an Open Call.
However their editorial team thought it fit to respond to the Now before returning to the normal editorial Schedule, since “Architects Say______” in its essence is purposed as a publication for topical issues. As such, it responds to the issue at hand, corralling the thoughts and voices of some of Nigeria’s leading architects and members of the ACAN. With this edition, they lay bare their voices and like Patience Okonta FNIA sums it up, Architects are saying “Let’s save lives“.
