Job Description

OliveHaus Nig. Ltd., an interior design company in Lagos is hiring a Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate would coordinate all aspects of a project – develop plans, set schedules and timelines, and ensure projects are completed according to time and budget projections.

Job Overview

Minimum Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying or a relevant course of study

Experience Level: Intermediate level

Experience Length: 3 years minimum

Responsibilities

  • Organize and review building plans, as well as source for general contractors.
  • Consult with clients from the project development process through completion of the construction project.
  • Maintain oversight on contractors ensuring they adhere to the building plans and regulations.
  • Oversee scheduling and timelines to ensure that projects are on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site planning and ensure that projects are complying with local zoning, environmental, and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying or a relevant course of study.
  • Project management certification is a requirement.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in managing and tracking projects.
  • Must be very proficient in Microsoft Projects or other Project Management software.
  • Must have a good knowledge of CAD software and other project management tools like Trello, ClickUp, etc.
  • Must have a good knowledge of project management techniques and the legalities of contracts.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Must have excellent budgeting and negotiation skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with members of the team and the contractors.
