Makenew Designs is looking to hire a Project Manager (Building Technology and Interior Finishing) to oversee construction projects from concept, through construction, to the final interior finishing stages. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. They should be energetic, high-spirited, and capable of ensuring seamless project execution while maintaining positive client and team relationships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to specification.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and coordinate all stages of the project, including design, construction, and finishing.
  • Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any challenges.
  • Source and procure materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with design requirements.
  • Prepare and present project updates to clients, team members, and management.
  • Lead and motivate teams to maintain high morale and performance standards.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or budget overruns.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing construction and interior finishing projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and interior finishes.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
