Reiken Solutions is a specialist engineering company looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required from an accredited college or university.
Professional Engineering license such as COREN, NSE, NIMECH etc.
7+ years work experience.
Excellent understanding of Engineering fundamentals.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Suite.

Prepare and review mechanical, plumbing designs for effectiveness and efficiency.
Prepare plans, details, specifications and cost estimate of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system.
Analyse Mechanical and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
Prepare and review costing (quotations, tenders and B.O.Qs) for mechanical and plumbing aspects – as the need arises.
Carry out value engineering exercise on proposed designs and costs.
Computer 2D and 3D modelling of HVAC or plumbing systems utilizing the latest modelling software.
Review Contractor workshop shop drawings against the design tender drawings for compliance with the design intent.
Review contractor workshop mechanical shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering coordination.
Effectively and professionally communicate with colleagues and project team members.
Other duties as assigned.
