We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager/Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in liaising with clients, conducting on-site visits, creating furniture layouts, designing bespoke furniture pieces, and managing projects from conception to completion. This position requires a blend of design expertise, project management skills, and exceptional communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation and Site Visits:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and spatial constraints.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess space, gather measurements, and evaluate design possibilities.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations based on clients’ needs and project objectives.

Furniture Layout and Design:

  • Develop innovative and functional furniture layouts tailored to clients’ specifications and space limitations.
  • Utilize 2D and 3D CAD software to create detailed designs, including furniture pieces, wall cladding, and integrated storage solutions.
  • Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, ergonomic principles, and aesthetic preferences.

Custom Kitchen and Wardrobe Design:

  • Leverage expertise in custom kitchen and wardrobe design to create personalized solutions that optimize space and functionality.
  • Incorporate efficient storage solutions, ergonomic design elements, and premium materials to enhance the overall user experience.

Wall Cladding Design and Installation:

  • Design wall cladding systems that are aesthetically pleasing, structurally sound, and easy to install.
  • Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless integration of wall cladding solutions into overall design schemes.

Project Management:

  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Proactively identify and address any project-related challenges or issues to mitigate risks and ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in furniture design, layout planning, and project management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp).
  • Strong understanding of custom kitchen and wardrobe design principles, including knowledge of materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
