Job Description

Regenant is in search of a Mechanical Project Engineer with the following background: Mechanical Engineer with site project management experience to supervise and manage construction projects. 

The ideal candidate will have an opportunity to work with the leading players in the built environment sector. He/she will assume a leadership role in multiple projects from conception to handover. 

Skills:

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of M&E contractors site activities
  • Monitor and ensure contractor compliance with project program of works
  • Coordinate site activities to ensure the mechanical/interior plans are executed according to specification, quality, budget, and timeline.
  • Manage outstanding issues (issue identification, investigation and tracking reports, issue management log, report on issues submitted and approved
  • Design and review systems (HVAC, water supply and waste, drainage) and specifications and ensure integration with interior, structural, electrical, and architectural drawings

Requirements

  • 5 – 6 years post graduation experience with a minimum of 4 years in a similar role and responsibilities in a reputable organization.
  • A first degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
  • A track record in design and site supervision with a reputable M&E consultancy company.
