Job Description

Idlewoods Ltd is recruiting a Senior Architect very proficient in design and 3d visualization to join its team. Idlewoods is a firm of Consulting Architects, Environmental Planners and Real Estate Professionals, whose goal is to provide services that meet the architectural needs and requirements of our clientele without compromising on exquisite detailing, efficient space planning and city planning requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and presentation of very creative design proposals and 3D Visualizations.
  • Creation of detailed drawings and specifications for architectural projects using the required computer-aided design software.
  • Creation of high-quality architectural/interior still images and animations.
  • Specifying the materials needed for the construction of projects.
  • Review designs to ensure they align with safety and planning regulations.

Requirements

  • Excellent design skills, knowing when to combine visual appeal and functionality.
  • Ability to use Autodesk Revit and any of Sketchup, 3D Max, Lumion or any other 3D modeler to create photorealistic renderings and animations.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in architecture.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • The use of photoshop for presentation would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Must have a keen eye for detail.
  • Must have an analytical mind with excellent problem-solving and mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to work productively within a team of other professionals.
