Nigerian Furniture and Lifestyle Brand, Taeillo in partnership with MOE + (Art + Architecture) is organising Creatives cocoon, a mentoring program that seeks to help refine upcoming design talent within the areas of furniture, textile and lighting design. As reflected by brands powering the incubation, Livin Spaces and Amakisi, the program will not only showcase the work from aspiring designers but also provide a platform for interested buyers to purchase their work through an exhibition.
The mentors for this maiden edition of the program include Papa Omotayo of MOE+, Aramide Akinosho of FAA designs and Jumoke Dada of Taeillo. They will help guide designers and critique their work prior to the exhibition which is slated for December 2018.
Creatives Cocoon will provide a starting point for aspiring designers within the stipulated fields and a medium for them to thrive while also giving an opportunity for mentors therein to share their experience and give back to the growing community.
