A father commissioned Nigerian Interior Designer OliveHaus Interiors to do a pink-themed girl’s bedroom for his little daughter. They took a traditional route with this specific brief by creating what they’ve referred to as a “plain ole princessy” pink room.

The images of this pink-themed girl’s bedroom were shared on their instagram page to reveal a traditional victorian bedroom done in different shades of pink and other soft pastel hues.

What stood out for us in this space is the intricate homely details like the appearance of yarn in the curtain tie-backs and her bedside lamp; and the gold detail in the nightstand accessories, table clock and reading chair. The rest of the space is dominated by white, allowing the major elements around the sleeping area to shine.

This pink theme was further expressed in the simple but functional bathroom for the bedroom. The wall tiles especially were done in pink with grout lines complementing the gold frame of the mirror.

With soft daylight and generally warm artificial lighting, this pink-themed girl’s bedroom by Olivehaus Interiors seems like a space that will timelessly grow with the little girl.
